The ASA Australia Walkabout Program is a unique opportunity for college students to live in 3 distinct areas of Australia. Unlike traditional programs where you study at one university and only get to see one area of this vast continent, the ASA Australia Walkabout Program allows students to study in Melbourne, Perth, and Hobart, and includes trips to Sydney, Rottnest Island, and other places of interest, all in the course of one semester. Our group is made up of college students from all over the U.S. who are independent, open minded, and seeking a study abroad experience like no other. They are ready to surf in the Indian Ocean, hike in Tasmania, and go camping in the Outback. They are also ready to learn about Aboriginal culture, the environment, and Australian literature and media.
